Cat Connection
Growing up I always had cats in my life. They were always part of me. When I got older as if I carried a magnet in my pocket, cats followed me home. They would show up by my door and stay. At one time I had 9 cats in my studio. My studio had a wall of tiny windows with windowsill, they all would sit on each one and this was an attraction to passersby. They sat in front of me while I copied them. They walked on my unfinished clay pieces to leave their imprints and occasionally they would chew on the work in progress. Life is definitely better with cats!
Flowers Which Never Wilt
I love a beautiful colorful house. Because of my many cats who lived with me I was unable to display any flowers in my house. Then the idea of hand making my own life size flowers came to my mind. It took many attempts to master the final pieces. I did study the actual flowers, using my own technique of color combinations to put the final touches. I call my flowers the Flowers Which Never Wilt! A unique way to make any décor, display or centerpiece standout.
Custom Requests
When I’m commissioned a wall backsplash, or any other customized work, I first ask what subject and colors the client like. I then research the subject and bring it as close as possible to what the client is looking for. Sometimes I have to make few small samples to make sure I’m on the same page as the client. End result is always a very happy client.

About Nooshin
Nooshin has had a fully equipped ceramic studio since 1979. Working with clay has been a lifelong passion and she has been serving clients all over the globe. Nooshin uses many methods to create – from hand building to throwing on the potter’s wheel to making molds for production. With a degree in Industrial Design and a masters in Fine Art from San Jose State University, she has been trained to focus on mass production.
She uses Bone China clay and the dinnerware she creates are all food and dishwasher safe. She can reproduce almost any idea you have in mind at an affordable price. Nooshin loves to share her art and believes it should be available for everyone. Throughout the years, Nooshin has created numerous pieces of ceramic that have been shown in galleries as well as department and specialty stores. She has made props for movies, theater and has created many one-of-a-kind pieces for private collections. Nooshin puts a lot of love in each piece she creates and she sends that love back home to her customers.
